Dymax Bio Sphere is a highly porous media designed to be a substrate for bio-filtration. Specifically to remove ammonia and nitrite (nitrification) and reduce nitrate (denitrification) for freshwater and marine and reef aquaria. Each litre of Bio Sphere provides over 750sqm of surface area. This product cultivates nitrifying bacteria on its outer sphere and denitrifying bacteria in the inner thus providing exceptional efficiency to eliminate toxic substances and prevent algae growth. Use 1L of Bio Sphere for every 250L of water. Bio Sphere us suitable for all types of filtration systems particularly effective in a canister filter. Rinse through water before use.
